Our Pedagogy

We understand that children feel a sense of belonging when they are engaged learners. Engaged children require the time, space and materials to master skills.

Competent educators learn alongside the children to create new stories of learning. These stories are shared with families to encourage continuous learning together as we observe our newest generation grow. Our hope is to encourage a more peaceful, democratic society where all members feel a sense of belonging…

Empowered Educators

Our Registered Early Childhood Educators work closely with our families to ensure to meet the unique needs of the children are met through ongoing communication. Each family has varying lived experiences, with unique knowledge to share. Educators co-learn with families and children to build trusting relationships, to open their worlds to new ideas and to be inspired to bring cohesiveness to the community.

Community Partners

We work closely with several organizations to best meet the needs of the families we serve. Our families, employees, volunteers and students all benefit from our close relationship with St. Joseph’s Health Care. Our intergenerational programming operates in partnership with qualified and caring therapists from Parkwood Institute.
All Kids Belong and Thames Valley Children’s Centre provide additional support for our families and employees to better meet the special needs many of the children in our organization. Our organization is committed to collaborating with the child care community in London and Middlesex through participation in various committees dedicated to enhancing the lives of families in our community.
