Amanda Thompson
Amanda has been a member of the Parkwood Children’s Centre Board of Directors since November 2011. She is mom to 4 children, soon to be 5 children, ages ranging from almost 9 to 24. Life is very crazy in her house between work, children and pets, though they would not change a thing. Currently both of her nephews attend Parkwood Children’s Centre and her son who is almost 9 went to Parkwood and loved it.
Amanda has a degree in Behavioural Psychology and has worked at Parkwood for just over 10 years as a Behaviour Analyst in the Veterans’ Care program. Her job is very rewarding and provides a nice balance to her often chaotic home life.
